HeadSmart Helps Occ Rehab Professionals Help Others

On Wednesday, 10th June, Suzanne Gibson, HeadSmart Co-founder and psychologist delivered an interactive webinar to over 150 professionals in the occupational rehabilitation field. This opportunity was thanks to the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA) who have been proactive in keeping the professionals in their industry connected through a weekly webinar series.

The interactive webinar covered the most common psychological illnesses seen in compensation schemes and provided a framework for translating the symptoms of these illnesses into functional limitations. It also demonstrated how some of the evidence-based treatment approaches for mental health concerns lend themselves to the return-to-work process and can be used to maximise return-to-work outcomes.
